Happy iLoveFacedownFriday GIVER STYLE!!!

This week’s post is brought to you from Kim & Adam at La Vie Photography – the happiest, most talented, genuine, amazing wonderful, giving, beautiful people/cutecouple/photographers I know!! (for real too!)

I’m sure you’ve heard ALLLLL about Get Hitched Give Hope, (if not, follow that link and read – its worth it!) well this year we SURPASSED OUR GOAL!!  Together we raised $85,000!!!!!  (All for very deserving people, read here)

As we shouted our total on stage and started a dance party – we couldn’t help ourselves… we were SO happy – we had to go FACEDOWN, GIVER STYLE!!

FREAKOUT FACEDOWN FRIDAY!!!!

Its Friday and you KNOW this is our FAAAAAAAAVORITE day of the week!!!  Fellow co-conspirer Laurel McConnell and gorgeous facedown supermodel Amy Kiel couldn’t help themselves… it was a romantical sunset down at gasworks park, they had their camera and went… what else?? FACEDOWN-GREAT-DANE-STYLE-BAY-BEE!!

Thanks girls – I gotta say…. I have a lot of favorites, but yours ALWAYS top the list, and Amen to that AMAZING quality!!

Facedowns… PRE-HANGOVER STYLE!!

This one… I know there is a better story to it…. there must be.

These are the details I’ve got… what do you think??

Whole Foods, Tractor PJ’s, Lucas Mobley, Chris Fitzner, Paul Sauro, Laurel McConnell, 5am, and a MAJOR hangover the next day.

Hmm….. we want to know more and we LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE that the facedown happened that day!! !BAM!

Facedowns :: King5 News STYLE!!

Today was an amazing day!!  Our number 1 facedowner – Jennifer MacNiven was interviewed on King 5 News by Meg Coyle (RAD!) and we were so lucky that Kat & Justin Spyer, Laurel McConnell, Vera Hull, Bob Bostwick, Megan Keller, Tonia & Kaia Heffernan & Michael Stokes met us down at the Sculpture Park for a BUNCH of new facedown styles and a few favorites revisited ones too!

Creative & Sweet Wedding Day Facedowns!!

Ohmygosh!! While looking through the stack of FACEDOWNS on my computer (there are a LOT!!) I came across this series.  Sent in by the insanely talented and hilariously energetic Laurel McConnell I can’t help but smile when remembering this story!

This is a wedding day creative view of facedowns!!  It was raining and it was their wedding day – so they didn’t want to get their clothes damaged…. totally understandable!!  So, they had this awesome angle to get standing facedowns!!

What the…. Kate McElwee?!?!

I can’t believe it!!  She said it was true and I didn’t believe her.  I know she’s done SEVERAL facedowns… but when searching for then – I cannot find them posted ANYWHERE on this site. Not Cool.

Kate McElwee a KICK ass photographer, super sweet girl and overall really great friend…. NOT ON THE WEBSITE?!?!  I do not believe it.

The Day After!

Super Gasp!!  WE missed iLoveFacedownFriday!!  AND there are so many good ones to post!!  Hopefully you can forgive me….  its just that Get Hitched Give Hope is THIS WEEK!!!!!!!  (only 5 days away!!)

So, we’ll have to do some fun GHGH Style Facedowns for SHURE.

ALLLRIGHT – enough excuses and onto the FUN!   This first one is of Lolo herself!  That’s right – the girl we know and love, Laurel McFriggenConnell!!  Facedown with her awesome yellow bag and purple shoes in front of the Clyde Theatre on Whidbey Island!

We’ll call this one Lolo Style – thanks pal!!

Epic IKEA facedown!!

Today’s facedown was HILARIOUS!! Laurel & I were at IKEA and sure enough, we bought WAY too much stuff. (yay for stuff!) SO – I had to ride home on the roof. Well, not really – but we thought it would be the AWESOMEST place for a facedown!

People were laughing so hard in the parking lot – some guy even had to come over and snap his own photo!  (could there be ANOTHER ilovefacedowns fan blog out there???)

SO many new facedowns!!

People in my life are the COOLEST!  Lots of love to everyone for playing along, loving facedowns as much as I do and for coming up with all of these fun ideas!!

This first one is from a day spent with Laurel in Wallingford – we do love our neighborhoods!

This week was Alyssa’s birthday – so what better way to celebrate than with a FACEDOWN!?  Drunken Central Cinema Style??  Thanks to all the girls who were willing to lay on the dirty cement in the pouring rain. TRUE friends & awesome people.  XOXOXO

This next one is Eliza Truitt – we went to lunch with our good pals Kate Baldwin & Melanie Blair in Queen Anne (mmmm…. racha!) and you can’t just TELL someone about a facedown w/o showing them what it looks like!  hee hee!!  E – you are an inspiration!  Thanks to Easy Street Records for lending their parking lot!!

iLoveFacedowns!!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHH I Love to Laugh!!  When Eliza showed me this hilarious site called Facedowns.wordpress.com we laughed and laughed and laughed… BUT, when I noticed that we couldn’t submit OUR facedowns, I got sad.  So – first we uploaded them to facebook… but we REALLY need to keep them all in one place, so people can always come here for a laugh.

SO.  If you are out and about in Paris, Ketchikan, Playa del Carmen, wherever – and find a GOOD situation for a quality facedown – send it in!  I’ll post it asap and then everyone can laugh with you! (and sometimes at you!)  Email me your facedowns!!  …. barbie (at) barbiehull (dot) com

Below is our favorite Laurel McConnell (aka the queen of silly) and her bathroom companion Christopher Smith – this was right after a big show by the Bearatones. =) People didn’t know WHAT to think!  hee hee

This was one of the first round of facedown trials.  At the Tillamook Airfield.  Love it. Classic.

Facedown Farm Style!  Brooke isn’t worried at ALL about hidden cow pies in this cow field! (love that baby cow!)

I think we lauged SO hard after the first facedown – now Grady loves him some facedown time too!

Miss Eliza Truitt goes facedown by LightHouse Coffee – (mmm…. lighthouse!) a biker loves what we’re up to and wants to get in on the action.
