It was a bright and sunny afternoon…. when Ani Butler called me up to say we should do a Butler Style facedown shoot at Rays Boat House!! A sunny day on the water?? You don’t have to ask me twice, I hopped right on down there! In this first magical (highlights style) facedown… there are actually TWO facedowners, can you find them in the shadows?? 
FACEDOWNS RULE!!!!
To observe the differences of planking and facedowing, here is a boat hoist… (i have no idea what this thing really is) style PLANK!
Seeing as it WAS happy hour, we couldn’t resist doing a full-house waterview Facedown HAPPY HOUR STYLE!!!! Wootwoot!! Thanks to Ray’s AWESOME staff for playing our awesome game!!!! ;0) 
Um, Helllo!! Ani HAD to take advantage of this dining area that had yet to fill up!! Planking Dining Room Style!! 
That’s right!!! We had everyone involved!!! Planking on a BUSY bar in the MIDDLE OF HAPPY HOUR?!~?!? TRUE dedication!! I can only say…. we appreciate your awesomeness!!! 
These poor boys didn’t know what was headed for them!! They thought we were going to just take a nice photo of the Butler Valet Team in their new uniforms… they had another thing coming!!
BUT thankfully – they didn’t protest… or even ask many questions!! hahahaahah Thank you guys, you are the BEST!!! (and totally deserve that raise! hee hee!)

Its Friday and you KNOW this is our FAAAAAAAAVORITE day of the week!!! Fellow co-conspirer Laurel McConnell and gorgeous facedown supermodel Amy Kiel couldn’t help themselves… it was a romantical sunset down at gasworks park, they had their camera and went… what else?? FACEDOWN-GREAT-DANE-STYLE-BAY-BEE!!

Lets CELEBRATE!!! Happy iLoveFacedownsFriday everyone!!! Its been one week since our awesome on air facedown/planking frenzy and things have been ROCKIN!! We’ve received facedowns and or Planks from all over the US!! Keep’em coming friends!!
This Friday we MUST celebrate with the über talented duo Kat & Justin Speyer of Persimmon Images. (you know we love all facedowns, but there is just something SPECTACULAR about photographer facedowns right?!?)

Today was an amazing day!! Our number 1 facedowner – Jennifer MacNiven was interviewed on King 5 News by Meg Coyle (RAD!) and we were so lucky that Kat & Justin Spyer, Laurel McConnell, Vera Hull, Bob Bostwick, Megan Keller, Tonia & Kaia Heffernan & Michael Stokes met us down at the Sculpture Park for a BUNCH of new facedown styles and a few favorites revisited ones too!

This first super rad-somewhat confusing yet-awesomely hilarious facedown is an annual event for this group of kick-ass tour guides from my very favorite Tour of Pike Place Market!!

Hey Now!! I bet you are sayin, “Wow! That girl is prettier than Cinderella!!” Well – that’s cause she is!! AAAND she is even cooler than Cinderella too.. know why?? CAUSE SHE’S FACEDOWN!! DUH!!! This beautiful 30 year old is lying facedown in the parking lot of Dicks Drive in burger joint in YOU-Gene (eugene) Oregon. Cause she can.
Facedown…. The McKey kids!! I love’em!!! They are Hilarious and awesome and are totally facedowning in the middle of their family photo session!! Cause they have the coolest parents – EVER! ;0) Thanks Luke & Beth for having an awesome family to do awesome things while we take photos!!

So, this one time – My buddy, Nicholle and I went to this super-freakin-cool city called SanFrancisco!!! YAHOO!! We visited sooooooo many places – and facedowned at all of the important ones!!!

Roger was one of the first people on the ilovefacedown blog. ;0) It was on the their engagement session & it was HILARIOUS!! We had so much fun we had to re-visit it on their wedding day!! So earlier this month, when Ali & Roger tied the knot…. they were so excited, they facedowned!!
Well… after 72 glorious years/beers at the Buck – The Buckeroo Tavern is closing. Since I live right there… I mean RIGHT there…. we HAD to do a Facedown Buckeroo Style!! While walking by I saw a nice gentleman, we’ll call him Edward (okay, that is really his name, but I bet he goes by Ed!) he LOVED the idea of facedowns (I could totally tell!) AND since this is THE LAST DAY the Buckeroo will be open he was awesome and Facedowned Buckeroo Style!!!

While out shooting the Savor Seattle Food Tour Guides portraits – it was a bright and sunny day and so we thought, why not facedown?? Really, why not?! Well – actually, none of them had even heard of facedowns and I said, “Will one of you lie face down with your nose on the ground and your hands by your side?” Without even thinking twice – this is what happened.
I couldn’t be happier. This makes me very happy. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH
Um. I LOVE photographing this group. They are HILARIOUS and not only do I laugh the ENTIRE hour long session but the entire way home too… They are great! If you haven’t taken their tour, you should. Visit the site HERE (savor seattle tours)
